In early 2020, as the world was hit by an unexpected global pandemic and many companies fell into disruption, BMS Medical chose to act. Within just over two months, we built our second facility—complete with a 5,000 sqm ISO Class 8 cleanroom—and in six months, we designed, built, validated, and launched more than 30 production lines across six critical projects. That moment, for me, was the most unforgettable milestone in my career. It embodied not only the speed and resilience of Chinese manufacturing, but also BMS's deep sense of responsibility in times of global urgency.
Having been with the company for 14 years, I've come to believe that what truly hasn't changed at BMS is our unwavering commitment to core values. Regardless of market shifts or customer transformations, we have stayed true to our founding mission: pursuing excellence in quality and serving public health. We continue to prioritize our customers and uphold integrity as our foundation. This consistency is what enables us to unite, adapt, and overcome every challenge.
At the same time, BMS is a company that embraces change. We've evolved from 16-cavity molds for reagent cups to mature 128-cavity high-efficiency systems. We've moved from labor-intensive processes to automated, smart, and lean manufacturing. For us, transformation isn't a slogan—it's proven through outcomes.
In building sustainable teams, I always emphasize three dimensions:
Meaning – helping employees see how their work connects to human health, where they're not just handling components but safeguarding lives;
Mastery – passing down knowledge through structured mentorship so expertise is preserved and continuously cultivated across projects;
Momentum – using “Growth-oriented mindset,” encouraging teams to look five or ten years ahead and work backward to spark forward-thinking innovation.
Many have asked me what has kept me at BMS for over a decade. My answer is simple: a platform built on trust, tangible personal growth, and a corporate culture that cares. The moments that bring me the greatest joy aren't about applause or recognition—but about achieving the impossible with the team, and seeing it become repeatable. Watching young talent grow into key players—that's the real reward.
To the next generation, I often say: ‘Don't become ceramic talent—hard but fragile. True career resilience comes from turning ‘I don't know' into ‘Let me try.' Approach every task like you're building your own business, and shift your mindset from ‘the company's growth' to ‘my own development.' That's how you go far—and go strong.”
Every step forward at BMS is built on years of focus, hard work, and unwavering belief from our people. Whether it takes ten years or twenty, we are here to build a future that earns trust—every single day.
